Estes Park Brewery

You want elevated views of the Rocky Mountains? Do you want to enjoy a pint or two in the fresh mountain air? If you answered yes to either of those questions then this place is for you! The Estes Park Brewery has been a staple in the area since approximately 1994, so they’re pretty well established! They brew some really good beer, most of which is very subtle easy drinking nectar! They have over ten beers to choose from, but you can’t go wrong with the Stinger Wild Honey Wheat! Brewed with Clover Honey, Coriander Seed, and Chamomile, this beer is very soft on the plate yet still somehow rich in flavor and extremely refreshing! The Bear Lake Blueberry Wheat is also a pretty notable beer; the subtle blueberry aromas really add to the beer’s slightly blue hue and that “blue blue” taste. Their beers are all pretty good across the board, they have stouts, IPAs, red ales, pretty much everything that you could want. For me, what makes this place is the ambiance- it’s a very nostalgic and relaxed atmosphere. It’s kind of touristy but it’s not too overbearing! They also have food, however it’s not the best to be honest. I’ve eaten there multiple times and it’s… food, but nothing to write home about. Overall though, this place is great to visit and is definitely worth your time! On the first level they have a little shop as well as a tasting room (bar) of sorts that you can hit to try their different beers before you go to the restaurant upstairs! You can always try beer samples upstairs too!
