Jagged Mountain Brewery
If you ever find yourself in the heart of the Denver bar scene then this place is for you! Off of 20th Street, this place is just a skip and a hop- or sideways walk- away from Market and Larimer Street downtown! It is a really nice space that is very quaint- it’s decorated in almost a mountain climbing type decor that is interesting. The air ducts are draped with climbing rope that secure pick axes and other essential climbing equipment that look… mountainy. The staff is extremely friendly though and very knowledgeable, they know their beer! We tried the Blue Mountain Blast, Bases Loaded Kolsch, and the Kawaikini- all of which were delicious! My favorite was the Blue Mountain Blast, it has a great light mouthfeel accompanied by lemon, lime, cantaloupe and most notably- because of this beers amazing color, Blue Curaçao! Having actually been to Curaçao, I can speak firsthand and say that they really hit the mark with this beer! It’s a collaboration with Blue Tile Brewing; it’s a kettle soured beer that is in a league of its own! The next time things aren’t so crazy and I’m out bar hopping downtown this place will definitely be my first stop! Try this place out if you haven’t been yet! Cheers!
