Mother Tucker Brewing
Mother Tucker! Oh Mother Tucker- do you like easy drinking, smooth beer? Do you like friendly people and having a good time? Well my friends if you answered yes to any of that then you are in the right place! Mother Tucker has two locations but the Thornton one is my favorite primarily because of the fact that I haven’t been to the one in Louisville before. I’m sure it’s equally as great but the Thornton location is actually the first nano-craft brewery in the city so that’s pretty cool! The front room where the bar is can get pretty cozy on a Friday or Saturday night but they have a back room that’s pretty big and a nice patio area! The second best part here besides the Honey Cream Ale is the community cat that sometimes roams the outside premises! He’s a friendly little fella but I wouldn’t recommend petting him even if you have all your shots- you never know! Anywho, the German Hefeweizen, Mexican Amber Lager, and Brown Sugar Blonde Ale are all solid options to quench your thirst! The brewery’s name actually comes from the owners last name, Tucker, and they’re usually around actively managing the place! I’ve had limited interactions with them but they seem like great people and amazing brewers! From tasting any of their brewz its immediately clear that this is their passion, they take pride in what they do and only produce quality! Also, right next door is Godfathers Pizza and they have really good food trucks there on the weekends! Bringing in your choice of food is encouraged, I’d encourage you to try out the food trucks when there!
