Sanitas Brewing Company
Great craft beer and awesome tacos- what else could possibly be better? That at least was my assumption until I had to opportunity to visit Sanitas Brewing Company- where I actually bore witness to perfection! Obviously, craft beer and tacos are arguably the eighth Wonder of the World- but Sanitas Brewing Company and McDevitt Tacos have cornered this market by taking their respective trades to another level! Sanitas' Boulder taproom is everything that you'd expect from a first class Colorado brewery and more! Their expansive outdoor patio is the perfect place to have a pint or two! Connected to their outdoor patio is a small outpost of McDevitt Tacos, their primary restaurant is also based in Boulder, but their offerings at Sanitas are amazing! We chowed down on their chips and queso which paired excellently with their Green Chiles & Chicken tacos! As far as beer- we tried Sanitas Marauder, Passion Fruit Sour, Prickly Pear Sour, and their Saison! All of which were top notch beers but my personal favorite was the Marauder; with notes of oak and whiskey it is a deliciously rich but surprisingly refreshing stout that will keep you coming back for more!
